New Year - New Attitude
Happy New Year!
I wish you a joyous and profitable 2008. In order to make it an advantageous year, you have to plan and develop your course for the new year. To successfully meet your personal goals, you must possess the proper outlook and an optimistic approach to everything you do.
If you live in a "negative world," you will find that your life will seem to always travel down a troubled road. If you expect failure, that's what you'll receive. I always tell people, if you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten. In order to make a change in your life, you have to develop a different mindset - a new attitude that will foster positive results. Now is the time to rid yourself of all negative thoughts and behaviors and resolve to change the way your think. If you have tried and failed before, it only means that you have not tried enough.
In this month's issue, we are featuring Joel Osteen, one of the most optimistic people I've seen. His new book, Become a Better You, is loaded with appropriate methods for motivating yourself to improve your life. He discusses how to build your personal confidence, develop positive relationships and become passionate about the various activities in your life.
Remember, your positive attitude will affect everything you do -- even your trading. Learn all you can by taking specialized trading courses (our trading pros offer classes every month), read books on the topic or go to your local community college and take a financial course. Do everything you can to level your playing field and become as educated as you can about the subject. It's important to have the educational background to enhance your skills. With knowledge you can do anything. Plus, if you are familiar with a topic, the more confidence you will develop in yourself and the more successful you will become. Everything is tied together; you simply have to strive to develop the whole package to realize your ultimate success in everything you do.
It can be a stressful and competitive world. I'm certain you are trying to keep up with a constant flood of information while attempting to stay in touch with today's technology that seems to change almost weekly. It is a real challenge but never give up. Never quit. I am grateful for each day and always look positively toward the future, and because I do, I am confident that great things are coming my way. I expect good things in 2008 and will personally focus on the well-being of my family, the continuing growth of my company and the development of better relationships with the people in my life. That's what life is all about - doing the best you can with the gifts you have.
Again I'd like to wish you a Happy New Year! You will increase the chances of experiencing a joyous and profitable 2008 if you constructively plan for your personal financial future with a new and improved attitude.
Happy Investing!
